The Freedom of Ireland

There have been many milestones in Ireland since the end of the Irish Civil War in 1923. It was during this part of the Civil War in 1922 when what we know as the Irish Free State was acknowledged. The leadership of it was the responsibility of those in charge of the Civil War movements. Yet that was disappearing as the 1930’s emerged. They didn’t have the power to continue guiding the people of Ireland. This is when the Fianna Fail took over leadership of Ireland. They took huge steps to transform Ireland from what it was in the old days. They were afraid too many of the previous mistakes would be repeated if they didn’t do so. In 1949 they declared Ireland as a republic. Until that time it has primary been ruled by a monarchy government.
